Continuing the Tradition of Community Service
West Anaheim Medical Center has sustained a 35 year commitment to provide community oriented programs.
- Community events: We continue to sponsor and provide resources for such events as the Anaheim Regional Neighborhood Development Committee, and Silverado Days.
- Breast Cancer Early Detection Project: West Anaheim Medical Center continues to provide low-cost mammograms during the American Cancer Society Breast Awareness month in October.
- Disaster preparedness: Our hospital has developed comprehensive disaster preparedness plans to enable the staff to handle any type of emergency. We work with the County Communications staff to prepare alternate ways of communicating vital information should electricity or telephone lines be down.
- Emergency Services: West Anaheim Medical Center provides comprehensive Emergency Medical Services, 24-hours a day, seven days a week and is a paramedic receiving station.
