ER (Emergency Room)
The Emergency Department is an area of the hospital specially designed to treat patients who need immediate medical care and cannot wait to be seen by a private physician. Doctors and nurses with specialized training in emergency medicine work in the Emergency Department.
Chest Pain Center
The Chest Pain Center is a specifically designated area of the Emergency Department reserved for patients with chest pain signs and symptoms. The Center is staffed around-the-clock by a team of professionals who are highly trained and skilled in the care of heart patients. The Center has all the equipment, medication and procedures in place to initiate and coordinate team intervention immediately upon the patient's arrival.
Heart Care Services
West Anaheim Medical Center provides comprehensive care for the heart. Services include diagnostic studies of the heart, and therapies for heart treatment.
Patients who receive care at the hospital may receive:
- EKG and doppler studies
- Cardiac Catheterization and Angioplasty
- Open-Heart Surgical Services

Behavioral Health Services
